What is the Image Partners Program?
The Image Partners Program is an image licensing agreement with photographers, illustrators, digital artists, organizations and institutions (schools, NGOs, companies) and others who own copyrights to images and who wish to license their work to MyFoneThemes for conversion and sale as mobile phone themes over the internet.
Who are eligible to join this program?
Any individual, institution or organization that wants to contribute their copyrighted photos, illustrations, cartoons, sketches, logos and other visual works for conversion into phone themes is welcome to join the program.
How can I start joining the Content partners Program?
You may start by registering to the program. Click here to register for free. Once your account is activated, you may immediately submit copies of your works. MyFoneThemes will review your submitted images and choose which ones will be converted into phone themes.

Will MyFoneThemes convert into phone themes all images that an Image Partner has submitted?
MyFoneThemes reserves the right to select which among an Image Partner’s submitted works will be produced as phone themes and sold on www.myfonethemes.com. This is to ensure that customers of MyFoneThemes will download nothing but quality original themes. However, an Image Partner is encouraged to submit as many works as possible. The more images an Image Partner submits, the higher are their chances for having their images converted into phone themes and downloaded by MyFoneThemes visitors.
MyFoneThemes requires Image Partners to submit only those photos and illustrations for which they own the copyright and have secured model releases should those images feature people. MyFoneThemes will NOT convert into phone themes submitted images that may infringe on the copyright of others. Will MyFoneThemes convert a Image Partner’s images into selected mobile phone models only?
NO. MyFoneThemes will convert your images into phone themes that will be installed in ALL supported theme-capable mobile models. This means that MyFoneThemes will add new theme formats as new theme-capable cell phone models are released. Click here for the list of all supported mobile phone models.
If a theme that was made from an Image Partner’s submitted image can be installed into as many phone models as possible, it means that they have better chances of earning income from licensing the image!
Will Image Partners get paid for joining the Image Partners Program of MyFoneThemes?
YES. Each time a phone theme that is made from an Image Partner’s submitted photo or illustration is downloaded and bought, they will receive a ROYALTY FEE of TEN PERCENT (10%) of the selling price. However, they can earn as much as TWENTY-FIVE PERCENT (25%), if they also register as affiliates and sell their content on their websites. (See Below).
When do Image Partners get paid?
There are two schedules for receiving royalties from MyFoneThemes depending on the mode of purchase by buyers:
- Monthly Payment for purchases by Credit Card
If buyers pay through credit card and the accumulated royalties reach USD 100 (US$100), MyFoneThemes will pay the Image Partner within the monthly billing period. If the accumulated royalties do not reach USD 100 (US$100) within the monthly billing period, then the payments will be carried over to the next monthly billing period or until the amount reaches USD100 (US $100).
- 150-Day royalty payment period for purchases other than Credit Card
If the buyer pays through premium SMS, interactive voice response (IVR) or any system other than credit card, MyFoneThemes will pay the Image Partner One Hundred and Fifty (150) Days from the date when the purchase was made and when the total is at least USD 100 (US$ 100). This is because the SMS and IVR Payment Solutions Company which processes such modes of payments submits payouts to MyFoneThemes anywhere from ninety to one hundred twenty days from the date of purchase. The SMS and IVR Payment Solutions Provider also has to wait to be paid by the telecommunications company before releasing the money to MyFoneThemes.
MyFoneThemes provides a payment option by premium SMS or IVR for those who don’t have credit cards or are unwilling to use their credit cards for micropayments. The objective is to enlarge the market for your phone themes.

How will I get paid?
Image Partners will be paid by check, wire transfer or by PayPal®. If you do not have a PayPal account, you can register for free at www.paypal.com. If you wish to be paid by wire transfer, you will shoulder the amount that banks charge for the wire transfers. This amount will be deducted from the total amount of accumulated royalties that you will receive.
Image Partners will be paid in US Dollars. If you want to be paid in a currency other than US Dollars, MFT will do this on a best efforts basis and all conversion charges will be borne by you.
Will I get paid for fraudulent purchases?
Unfortunately, no. Purchases which are fraudulently made by use of stolen credit cards or other means may be reversed by the credit card company. MyFoneThemes shoulders the risk together with the Image Partner and also suffers if there’s any reversal of charges.
However, MyFoneThemes uses PayPal and 2Checkout, two big well-known credit card payment solutions providers in the internet industry which use the latest and most stringent methods to screen and deny fraudulent use of credit cards.
Will I get reports about my earnings?
YES. Image Partners will be able to check their earnings by logging in to their Control Panel page. Reports will include how many themes were downloaded, the most popular themes, and accumulated royalty per theme, among others.
Will I retain the rights to my images?
YES. You own the rights to the images—both photos and illustrations—that you will submit to MyFoneThemes. However, MyFoneThemes owns the copyright to the phone themes that it creates from your submitted images, but will not sell phone themes outside the terms and conditions specified in the Image Partner’s Agreement.
Can I license my images to other companies to be converted into phone themes?
No. Our agreement specifies that MyFoneThemes be given exclusive license to convert your images into mobile phone themes and to sell and distribute them. However, you may license your images as wallpaper, screensaver, or for any other product except phone themes.
Will my name be recognized as the author or owner of the images in MFT site?
Yes, of course. MyFoneThemes will make every effort to identify you as the author or owner of your images in the MyFoneThemes site.
Can I also sell my themes or other themes from the MFT site in my own website?
Sure you can. You can sell your themes or other themes as well, depending on your choice, in your website by registering as an AFFILIATE of MyFoneThemes. In this way, you can earn an additional commission of up to 15% as well as the ten percent (10%) you will get as an Image Partner. You can earn as much as TWENTY-FIVE PERCENT of the selling price from being both Image Partner and Affiliate.
How long will MyFoneThemes sell a Partner’s images as phone themes?
Under the Agreement, the license lasts for one year and is automatically renewed at the end of one year on a continuing basis unless terminated by either party by giving a 60-day notice of termination by fax, mail, or email.
Where will MyFoneThemes sell my images as phone themes?
Worldwide. Through the wonders of the web and mobile phone technology, MyFoneThemes has the capability and means to sell and send the phone themes to most phone theme capable phones in the world. The phone themes created from your licensed images to MyFoneThemes will be sold on MyFoneThemes.com and its affiliate websites.
Will MyFoneThemes sell a Partner’s images as phone themes other than through the web?
The primary means of sale and distribution will be through the web, via www.myfonethemes.com and affiliate sites. However, in cases where there are opportunities to sell and distribute the phone themes directly to telecommunications companies or through mobile content aggregators, MyFoneThemes will seek permission from you to do so.
